Hazardous waste collection point in the dry dock

Temporary storage point for oils, leftover paint, batteries, absorbents, aerosols, flares, plastic packaging and contaminated metal, filters, fluorescents, sludge from washing, batteries, toners and waste containing hydrocarbons; until its collection by an authorised waste management company.

Bilge water and sewage collection system

Alcudiamar is the first port in the Balearic Islands and the second in Spain to have a pioneering system for the collection of bilge water and sewage using a suction method. A more eco-friendly and convenient method from the mooring point of view, preventing waste from being discharged into the sea.

PRM Accessibility - Reduced mobility

We have removed the architectonic barriers throughout the marina, facilitating access and mobility for all of its users.

Water recirculation systems

We have a network installed at a depth of 300 cm which collects the water from the breakwater of the marina and injects our inner harbour through the ledge of the pedestrian walkway. This way, by forcing the water to recirculate with a pump system to different parts of the marina’s inner harbour, the water in it is of a better quality and transparency.

Water oxygenation system

The water oxygenation system of the marina’s waters consists of an aerator mounted on its respective floating raft. This enables it to move around, hence its much larger area of influence, and allows it to act in different areas. This way, through a series of aeration tubes connected to an air pump, it oxygenates the inner harbour of the marina from the bottom, favouring to a large extent the anaerobic processes of reducing organic matter.

Shared electric car service

Alcudiamar is the first marina in Mallorca to offer an electric vehicle hire service by the hour. Thanks to our partnership with Muvon Carsharing, you can hire a 100% electric vehicle to travel around the island.

We regularly measure and analyse the water in our inner harbour

Alcudiamar takes regular measurements to control the quality of the water situated in the marina’s inner harbour. Additionally, in mooring number 2, specifically where the rainwater from some of the streets of the Port of Alcudia is discharged, a probe has been installed which provides parameters about the condition of the water in the marina in real time. These parameters, among others, are the pH, turbidity, water salinity, and the presence of suspended solids, oxygenation, the water temperature or the existence of hydrocarbons.
