For the fourth consecutive year, the Bay of Alcudia has been the setting for the charity regatta organised by Alcudiamar and Projecte Home Balears. A weekend of competition and activities that included children's and environmental workshops, live music and food trucks, attracting thousands of visitors to the Regata Village installed in Alcudiamar.

The competition took place in a sporty and healthy atmosphere, but at the same time exciting, in which the boat Lampo Rosso, skippered by Joan Jofre, was the overall winner. In second place was Margarita Villalonga's boat Jintonique, and in third place was José Luis Sanders' Yeiayel

The competition has thus consolidated itself as an event that combines sport, sustainability, fun for all ages and, above all, solidarity. Not surprisingly, all the proceeds have been donated to Projecte Home Balears, an organisation that focuses its efforts on developing programmes to help people who are trying to escape from the world of addictions.

The official sponsor of this edition was MarSenses Hotels & Homes, a Mallorcan hotel company with several establishments in Mallorca and Menorca, which pays special attention to its Care by MarSenses programme, where it intensively develops its social and environmental sustainability programmes. It is also worth mentioning the sponsorship of Autovidal, which had an exhibition of high-end electric vehicles, and all the collaborating companies that make this event possible.

Along the same lines of sustainability, the Love the Mediterranean days took place throughout the weekend, which included different environmental workshops and guided tours of the Galaxie electric sailing boat. These activities have been organised by TrueWorld, a Mallorcan company that for the second consecutive year will be responsible for calculating and offsetting the carbon footprint of the regatta in all its scopes. The economic contribution for the compensation will be carried out with projects verified by the United Nations.

Thus ends an event that is becoming a classic in the northern town of the island at the gates of summer.
